The kids, my dad, and I tagged along with Andy and a bunch of his awesome high school students on their summer work trip to New Orleans, Louisiana….  Before you ask, this was a controlled burn put on by the City of Fort Myers Fire Department for training purposes. I don’t normally randomly stop and gawk at fires, let my children play near fires, or take pictures of fires. We were on the back side of the burn (unfortunately downwind at times!), but… Welcome to my new site AND blog! I’ve put most of the finishing touches on and swapped everything over last night.
