Category Archives: babies Shane and Helen received a fabulous baby present from a friend…a newborn photo session to document their new family unit! Their new son is perfect and thriving. And I just have to give a public shout out to Helen, because she looks absolutely fabulous! (Sorry, Shane, it’s all about her right now.) We had a…  You know, I look at my own children and am hard pressed to pick out my own or my husband’s features in their faces–to me, my children just look like themselves, not miniature versions of either of us. I’m sure friends of ours would disagree, though! My beautiful sister-in-law came for a visit this spring…  It is always fun to meet a family, wherever it is, but there is something really special about being invited into a home and getting to peek into a family’s life. This family is one of the sweetest I have had the privilege to meet in a long time. I love how looking at these…  Do you ever have a day when words just aren’t coming? For me, this is one of those days. I’m just looking at the pictures I have of this beautiful family and all I can think is that anything I have to say is going to come out like the grownups in a Peanuts cartoon….
