I’m mulling over another shooting tips post for you so check back later this week for another one in that series. Today, I’m just going to tell you about a cool project I’ll be participating in this spring. My MOPS group asked me (!) to help them with their spring fundraiser and silly me, I said yes! I’m pretty excited about it, I have to say. Here’s the scoop:
We are planning two solid days of photography here in town in April. It’s children only, and it will be fast. We’re offering the opportunity to have some whimsical fairy tale pictures (think tulle, fairy wings, and swords) made of your children. Session coupons are only $15 each, all of which goes right to our MOPS group. With that, you will get a free 8×10 picture of your choice and the opportunity to purchase an entire package of prints (all through my online proofing gallery). A healthy percentage of the print sales are also going right back to MOPS, so this should be a great opportunity for them.
Our MOPS group is kind of starting all over again from scratch this spring, as is our church, and the group is having to apply for a new charter and basically start over from scratch. It’s a great time for a fundraiser, isn’t it? For more information, visit the FAQ page, which will answer all the detail questions for you. I am not selling coupons, but if you email the MOPS group from the link on that page, they can probably sell you one.
