We’ve lived here long enough that I’ve almost forgotten the wonder and excitement my children showed the first time they saw the Gulf (which is much friendlier body of water for the littlest ones than the Pacific or even the Atlantic). About a week ago, I hit Sanibel with this beautiful family and got to enjoy that wonder all over again! Their oldest (who is not all that old!) was so enthralled with the water and sand that we really couldn’t keep him out of it (then again, why would we want to?). He was there for the full experience, including eating the sand! We laughed at the ways of toddlers…and everyone just rolled with it (hey, this is real life photography, right?). I had a lot of fun and now am having a hard time picking my favorite pictures! Isn’t this family just beautiful?
