I read a blog entry recently which mentioned one school’s graduates’ struggles with finding lucrative employment. Apparently, quite a few students find themselves out in the real world, saddled with debt (which they thought they could readily pay off with those high dollar photo gigs). I guess that’s true in any profession–somehow everyone expects that they will strike it rich and quick. A girl named Melanie Bess Hogan is a graduate in a tough spot and has started an unusual blog as a way to pay down her debt. I only had a chance to take a quick peek but I liked what I saw and am thinking about buying a print. Or two.
